If you are like most people who visit the zoo, you bring a camera. Thousands of photos of our animals get taken every year. Now those pictures can get the attention they deserve. The NEW Zoo Photo Contest. It's an easy way for your great Zoo photos to be featured on our website.
Enter the contest by following these easy steps.
Step 1: Visit the NEW Zoo
This is the easiest part. You can even bring your friends and family to enjoy your time at the zoo. Visit as often as you like, there is no limit.
Step 2: Take photos at the NEW Zoo
While you're at the zoo snap photos of animals you encounter. Take photos of your family and friends looking at animals, or of the fun times you're having at the zoo. The zoo animals are also great for amateur and professional photographers looking to capture some rare shots.
Step 3: Send your photos to the NEW Zoo
Pick out a couple of your best photos and send them to us. The photos will be entered into our ongoing contest and you'll be notified if your photo was selected. To be notified your email address must be included in the message.
This photo contest is for digital photography only. Any digital camera over 3 megapixels should provide the quality image required. Photos must be at least 938 pixels wide. You may encounter problems if you email large numbers of photos at one time or send very high-resolution or large-size images. You may also have problems due to weird message formatting caused by different mail programs or mail server/transit problems outside of our control.
Since these issues vary, we suggest emailing fewer images at a time. Please include who you would like the photo credited to if any.
