Come join the NEW Zoo as we host our fourth annual “PARTY FOR THE PLANET!” The NEW Zoo is proud to be one of numerous AZA facilities hosting such an event. The entire day will be focused on education and environmental conservation! Oodles of educational, hands on activities are scheduled as we celebrate National Earth Day…
Activities
- Take in an Exhibit Talk or journey around our conservation stations to learn about our environment and our planet’s many endangered animals.
- Opportunities to learn about the important role the NEW Zoo plays in protecting our planet will be endless!
- Enjoy an African Discovery Amphitheater Presentation. Learn about Zoo “green” initiatives to become sustainable and experience a live animal encounter with one of our critters!
- Consider creating a home-made bird feeder to treat the animals in your own back yard!
- Party for the Planet festivities can be enjoyed for the cost of regular admission.
