North American Aviary Reopens

During your visit, don’t forget to take in the newly renovated North American Aviary which has recently reopened. “The aviary has been closed for almost the entire 2008 season due to major ice storm damage to the exhibit”, Director, Neil Anderson stated. Subsequently, the exhibit has been completely renovated and the North American water fowl and bald eagle have been returned to their new home. “Visitors can expect to see over $200,000 worth of improvements to this exhibit. The North American Aviary is a unique experience for visitors. They are actually immersed into the exhibit with the free flight water fowl and an up close and personal experience with our bald eagle” stated Anderson.
