Exhibit Grand Opening & Welcome Home Day
Be one of the first to see Al and Tootie in their one of a kind new home! The Aldabra tortoise couple is among the few animals that will see many generations of visitors over their lifetime-the record lifespan being 152 years old! Their new exhibit entitled “Land of the Giants” incorporates innovative new design features sure to please visitors and our resident tortoises alike.
Built to authentically replicate an aldabra’s domed shell from exterior and interior vantage points, the exhibit will serve as a year round bungalow for the happy duo.
Special Tours
Special behind the scene tour opportunities of the new exhibit will be available for $2 per person from 10am-2pm.
First 500 Kids…
In honor of the big day, the first 500 kids will receive tortoise balloons to take on their return home!
