NEW Zoo History Day
March 20th, 2010
10:00am to 2:00pm
This year in March, the NEW Zoo is taking a look at just how far we’ve come! From a fire that once destroyed all that was left of the forest in today’s Brown County Reforestation Camp to how the Northeastern Wisconsin Zoo was started with just a few exhibits of wolves, deer, and bear, we’re honoring our past and celebrating our future. Join us for a day of both reminiscing and looking forward with an educational presentation and slide show, games and activities, and a chance to meet some of the NEW Zoo’s live animal ambassadors up-close.
Special Guest
Special guest Smokey the Bear will even be at the zoo to help us celebrate!
Do You Have Old Zoo Photos?
NEW Zoo friends and family members with “older” photographs of the Zoo and Reforestation Camp are welcome to share them with us.
We’d love to incorporate them into our slide show.
