‘Tis the season to celebrate with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and all the “Monkeys on the Mantle” at the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park! Join us for Holiday Fest on Saturday, December 2^nd from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This event is free with regular zoo admission.

Play our holiday BINGO game to find the mischievous Monkey Elves hiding all around the Zoo. Kids can claim a prize for playing at the Prize Table in the zoo’s Visitor Center before leaving the zoo. Guests can also find Santa and Mrs. Claus in the Mayan Restaurant from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Drop off your letters to Santa or tell him your wish list in person – either way, he ho-ho-hopes you’ll sit with him for a photo!

Several other winter-themed activities, like games and crafts, will be available throughout the event. A few special animal friends will also make appearances, so be sure to stop by the Education & Conservation Center building to see which critters are out and about. Face painting will also be available, and as an extra sweet treat, all kids will receive a bag of candy when stopping by to see Santa in the Mayan Restaurant.

The Neil Anderson Canopy Tour will be open starting at 9:00 a.m. (weather permitting), so you can enjoy a bird’s-eye view of our very own winter wonderland. NEW this year: the Canopy Tour will be open for extended evening hours from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays, December 2^nd, 9^th, and 16^th. Experience the quiet calm of a winter’s night at the Zoo, and see the sights lit by moonlight and festive, holiday lights strung through the treetops. Tickets for these “Merry & Bright Canopy Lights” events will be available at the Adventure Park’s Base Camp Building each night.
