Scheduled Public Zoo Snoozes

There are two different types of Zoo Snoozes, a Public Zoo Snooze and a Private Zoo Snooze. The Public Zoo Snooze is for the general community to sign up individually for dates that have been pre-scheduled by the zoo. The child registering does need to be at least 7 years of age and no older than 13. No adults are allowed to attend a Public Zoo Snooze other than the Education Coordinator and zoo staff. The Public Zoo Snooze maximum number of participants is 20. Pre-registration is required for a Public Zoo Snooze.
The Private Zoo Snooze is for private groups to register for their own date. All children attending a Private Zoo Snooze must to be at least 7 years of age. There must be at least a 1:10 ratio of chaperones to children for a Private Zoo Snooze. The Private Zoo Snooze has a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 participants. Pre-registration is required for a Private Zoo Snooze.
Completed forms should be mailed or faxed to the zoo. If you are registering for a Public Zoo Snooze, full payment is due with your completed registration form to hold your spot. One half of this payment is non-refundable. If you are registering for a Private Zoo Snooze, a $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required with your registration form. The remaining total is due the night of your Zoo Snooze.
After you have submitted your registration form, you will receive a confirmation by mail or e-mail within 5-7 business days. Please bring a copy of your confirmation with you the day of the Zoo Snooze.
The Public Zoo Snooze costs are as follows: $50.00 per person for NEW Zoo members, $60.00 per person for non NEW Zoo members. Your total payment is due with your registration form. One half of this payment is non-refundable. The Private Zoo Snooze costs are as follows: $30.00 per person with a minimum of 15 participants. The Private Zoo Snooze requires a $100.00 non-refundable deposit that must be received with your registration form. The remainder of your payment will need to be made the night of your Zoo Snooze. These prices include general zoo admission, crafts, animal encounters, and snacks. Dinner is not served with your Zoo Snooze. Please eat a full dinner before arriving at the zoo. A small snack will be served during the evening and a light continental breakfast will be served in the morning.
Please report to the Visitor's Center where an education staff person will greet you and check you in. Final payment for the Private Zoo Snooze is due at this time and your group will not be admitted without it. You may pay by check, cash, or credit card (Visa or Mastercard).
Every participant must turn in a completed release form and a Brown County liability waiver the night of the Zoo Snooze or they will not be admitted.
If you are going to be late for the Zoo Snooze, please contact us as soon as possible at (920) 434-7841. Although we will do our best to accommodate your late arrival, we may have to reschedule or cancel your Zoo Snooze.
Your Zoo Snooze will only be cancelled if the weather is deemed hazardous. Your group will be contacted by 4:00pm on the night of your snooze only if the impending weather is deemed by zoo staff to be severe
If the Zoo must cancel your Zoo Snooze because of weather, you will be contacted by 4:00pm the day of the Zoo Snooze and it will be rescheduled. If you need to cancel, please call (920) 434-7841 as soon as possible.
